[Help] Salamandra Brooches?

Earlier on in the game I read that Leuvaarden would buy any Salamander Brooches off me, I've found myself in Chapter IV, and with 60+ Brooches clogging my inventory, am I to chuck 'em or does he actually buy them off you? (be it prior to Chapter IV or later).

Hello and welcome to the forums, Manny.
As for those brooches, I'm not sure myself. I killed quite a number of Salamandra members and he did not pay for the badges. I kept most of them at the inn just in case. Still at Chapter 3 at the moment, though, and I still have no idea how to destroy that organisation.

I think it's in chapter 2 where if you talk to L at the dike, he'll buy three badges from you. That's the only time I found a use for them.
