Hey i'm sure you've heard this before but what should I do about AC and Beholders for my Kensai/Mage?

If you're sure we heard it before, then use a search function.

When fighting beholders, AC does NOTHING for you.

Anyway, to improve AC use AC items and cast Spiritual Armor. As for beholders, try using summons or area of effect spells and oh, use Spell Trap, it will absorb some of their blows.

If you care about AC with a kensai/mage you've obviously not grasped the whole concept of that very specific class. I bet you're using offensive spells with your mage class. :P

Try buffing yourself with Protection from Magical Weapons, Stoneskin, Mirror Image, Fire shield, Improved Invisibility and Spell Immunity: Divination. Throw in a Protection from the Elements and a Spell Trap when you're high enough level.

A kensai/mage is in theory an immortal decent level fighter. Think about it.

uhm wow... next time answer my question instead of insulting me. I already know AC does nothing against Beholders, hence the AND.

and good lord, I haven't even Dualed my class yet. Just answer the question instead of being a dousche

I DID answer your questions and you never told us that you haven't dualed, also, use the search engine.

You should stop with the verbal attacks. It's a good way to get banned.

Technically, you don't really even need AC, but could get it as low as -15 with spells and items. As a mage type, you should just protect yourself with your spells. But again, against beholders try spell trap, maybe even a simulacrum decoy to cast the spells for you.

Well, I'm just recommending you to play the game YOUR way and find your OWN powerful and funny combinations instead of using the hands down most stereotypical and dull powerhouse there is.

If you want to learn the game you should just play it a couple of times and try stuff out.

Hey, Bushwhacker- don't pop off on people like that. You're the one asking for advice, and Cren answered your question.

I get what you're trying to do, and I respect it, and I apologized to Cren, but let people fight their own battles, don't preach at me. it was actually T i was irritated at, I unintentionally insulted Cren without thinking about it

The matter is settled, the question is answered let's drop the topic. There is no more use for this thread.

Agreed. The search function is there to find a ton of information by knowledgeable people who have addressed the topic in the past. :)
