Hello everyone!
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but can you tell me how to improve my performance with KotOR? ( also KotOR 2 )
My specs: Duron 1300 Mhz , 512 Ram , ati radeon 9200. I know that my specs are above the minimum requirements but it seems that i experience low performance with this game . I tried to install older drivers but it didn't help too much.
P.S - I don't have performance issues with other games contemporary or newer with this one so i'm excluding hardware problems.
Please Help.

I've noticed that KOTOR _really_ doesn't like certain graphics cards. Lots of people here have had problems with Nvidia cards, for instance. I got a new machine which had a niominally way slower graphics card than my old one, and KOTOR (and KOTOR2) performed infinitely better.

I assume you are referring to the notorious 'Dantooine Drag' effect? You can cope with the poor performance by always facing a nearby wall while playing in large open areas, but it's a right pain!
