Okay, I was playing in custard mansion in fargrove in the beginning of the game on the quest where you have to get the map for the guild of mystery. Just outside the dungeon room where you fight the two bosses there are three doors one leading back to the room, and one on each side, there are normally lvl7 locks on them but if you have the key that you get from the mimic then you can just open them. I accidently pressed the shift key to lock the door and rolled into the door on the right with the mimic. I killed the mimic but saved into the room. Now im stuck with no hope of getting free! Please someone help me so I can keep playing this awsome game without starting all the way over!!!!

Try using the editor. I read a post about someone who used it to change position. It might help you. Check out the stickies.

Don't despair. Try it out. Be sure to make a backup of your saves, though. As long as you do that, you can't do anything wrong.

So pretty much I just download the program and let it speak for itself? (I've never worked with an editor before or any other game modifer), im still pretty new to pc gaming and i don't even play DL online.... am i still doomed? :/

I think pretty few people play it online, actually.
Put a copy of your savefiles somewhere else on your harddisk, download the editor, and mess around with it. You will learn a thing of two. That's the beauty of PC-gaming: half of the time, you're your own tech-support.
The most dismal worst case scenario that could happen? You'd have to uninstall DL, delete the files, reinstall it and put those copies of your saves back in the folder. I think it'd be very unlikely to turn out like this.
Read the stickied thread, it contains a lot of answers already.
