How do you solve Mazzy's quest with regards to Pala?

Mild Spoiler! Forgot to put that in the thread title!
I talked to the priest and Barl immediately attacked, so I had no choice but kill him. Then the priest just goes into a loop and the dialogue option repeats me accusing Barl and the priest searching the chambers, and on it goes.I go to the Fenton household and the mum "has nothing to say to you," and Denno and Wallace both simply say the same things about "Please help her" and "I'm sorry" with no other dialogue option
The Pala died and the mum hates me and I think it's then that my popularity dropped from 18 to 10
And THEN - I remove Mazzy from my group (for some reason she didn't automatically leave my group) and she says nothing and walks off, and then forevermore refuses to rejoin my group! Exactly what's going on here? Is this a glitch/bug?

What should have happened is, after you kill Barl the talona priest, a dialogue with Mazzy kicks in, where she says something like "there is a bottle on him! Let's take it and hope it's an antidote". Then you go to her house, and she talks to her parents, gives her sister the antidote, sister is saved, voila. Mazzy wants to stay with Pala for three days, and then joins you back when you ask her.
The only bug I had here was Mazzy's three days going for ever, and I had to ctrl+Q her to the party.

Ctrl+Q? I gather that's a bit of a cheat... (very VERY inexperienced with gaming here - this is my first game since the DOS games and I haven't even finished playing it yet!) Do you simply type Ctrl+Q (without the plus sign of course) during the game...?

Well, no. If you want to cheat, you have to do some preparations first, but I wouldn't advise you that, because once you enable the cheats, it's hard to restrain from using them. Don't you have a saved game from before fighting the priest? Did you get the dialogue I mentioned? (I assume you didn't)

No never got that dialogue. Meh. And it's too late to go back to before the Priest just cus that was ages ago now - I've moved on from that and have since almost completed most quests in Chapter 2. Couldn't be bothered with Windspear Hills though, or the Shadow Thieves really. I've just completed Bodhi's 3rd task and am rather excited about what's gonna happen! (please don't tell me)
Incidentally, can you tell me where I can find a Silver Dragon so I can complete the flesh armour? I know thingy-what's-his-name is a Red Dragon in Windspear Hills (and according to a friend, if you slay that one, it gets you amazing gadgets) - but yeh, he doesn't happen to be a Silver Dragon, does he?

Hmm just realised that I should've added *mild SPOILER* in my thread title... How do I change it...?

I don't know how to change your topic, never tried that. But nice of you to notice, most people don't bother.
I see in the other thread that guys hav introduced you to the console. So your cheats are now active. To add Mazzy to your party, place the cursor on her, and press the control and q buttons.
Don't worry about silver dragon, you will bump into one when the time comes. It's pretty tough, so think before you act

Don't even know if the following includes a spoiler - but just in case, don't read if anyone hasn't played the game!
Ahh I played nice in the end and spared the Silver Dragon
But stupid illithids twisted city thing with its stupid doors that can "only be opened with godly strength or a very strong mind" meant that I kept turning Heinrich (my lead character) into the Slayer
Sure it opened a load of doors, but that also meant that my rep plummaged....
to a whopping 2
Yeh, sadly Keldorn left the group
I couldn't bring myself to kill him cus I really like him but I have no idea how to remove party members unless you were adding a new one, and the game kept making me fight Keldorn... So yeh, I cheated and conjured up Mazzy so I could remove Keldorn. It appears that there must be another bug though cus Keldorn has simply disappeared. Admittedly, I left him at Ust Natha...
I was kinda hoping he'd be going home to his family, but he wasn't there
Ah well, making Heinrich turn into the Slayer was necessary for the game, as well as me story anyway...
I now constantly get worried that my party members will start leaving though

well it said you could open the door in two ways, one option is the slayer
another option has to do, with the two rooms of the dungeon you visited before,
the room with the enslaved adventurer and the one with the single illithid
since this is your first time i wont say more

If you go to the PC's Record page, there is a button at the bottom labeled 'Reform Party'. You can then select members to remove.
