Can't rest in Fhjull's house

Every time I tell Fhjull I want to rest, he says "yeah go ahead,bla bla" but I don't actually sleep, only say thanks...
And I really need to rest cause I have like 2 characters very hurt (damn those Curst guards), I have hardly any spell memorised, and I don't have Friends memorized for the next encounter with the Pillar of Skulls...
Is this a bug, or is there a special place at Fhjull's house where I need to rest?
