hi guys,

the last few days i tried to instal tutu, i installed the game a ton of times and now finally it seems to work

but i have 2 problems

1. i installed easy tutu so i got an "extra" game and dont start the bgii and begin a new game at bgi, so i got a new folder a new .exe and so on, but since i patched a pure game i got no mods and i want to play a few mods with the game,

i could try to install the usuall tutu, to just "patch" my bgii, i did this but since it seems i made an flaw during the inst of bgI i had to reinstall everything again,
but is there an other way to install certain updates ?

2. while i install tutu it said i should full install bgi, i guess this is the error which occured the first time though, and he is missing the vid data from cd2-5
but im 100% sure i that there where any vids available at bgi installation
now i manually c&p the vids and it worked out, is this sufficient?

If you're running Tutu, why are you worrying about BG1? As long as you have a legal copy of BG1, that's all that matters as I understand things. Tutu uses the BG2 engine, not the BG one.

Maybe I've misunderstood, but when I've run Tutu, BG1 wasn't used at all as I recall, apart from the cut scenes, which Tutu activated independently of BG1 I believe.

Hello there!

Since you've got an English language installation, AND it seems like you're going to reinstall anyway, try EasyTutu:
EasyTutu

It's just the same thing, only
1) it has all the fixes already, so you do NOT need tutufix;
2) you will have an EasyTutu directory and a BG2 directory - you'll be able to choose which game to play.

Please, read the instructions carefully - it's very easy. If you still got any questions, try the support forum: BG1Tutu General

When you've got it working, here're some Tutu mods for you:
G3: BG1 NPC Project
Pocket Plane Group - Bending Baldur's Gate 2 and the Infinity Engine
