Knights of the Temple II

Happy New Year, Everyone!
Carol here. Has anyone played Knights of the Temple II? I am in Ysura (I think that is how it is spelled) going after the artifact. Can anyone tell me how to kill that big fat dude who keeps flitting around all over the place after I go up in the elevator? I assume that he has the artifact that I need because there is no other place to go in that place. I explored everywhere else underneath the prison.
Please help since there is no walkthrough for this game that I have been able to find. If there is a walkthrough, please let me know.
