what is this HoW everyone talks about?

Im new to this forum, and i was just wondering what HoW is.
Heart Of Winter, is an expansion of the original game. It adds a second major quest to your game.
Trials of the Luremaster (totl) is a second expansion, it can be downloaded freely (legaly) and installed if you have how. This will add another major quest to your game.
