I searched around the forum a bit, but couldn't find anything.

My first problem is, my party turned psycho. They pick a seemingly random member and beat him/her to death. This first happened to Qara in Old Owl Well, my members would attack her till she's dead. I thought it had something to do with her area spells.
Later, after I finished Jerro's haven and got our bald warlock to the Flagon, you know there is a conversation between members. There, everyone attacked bishop. They cast spells and all. They keep talking too. For example, it's Qara's turn to speak, she speaks but she also casts stoneskin and starts a fireball as she talks. Then the camera goes to Khelgar, who's busy knocking bishop down. Then it gets to bishop, who stays just like that, talking but being beaten meanwhile.

Happened again after assasination attempt on Nasher. I know from my previous character that when you talk about alliances (after you get back to keep) Bishop says something like "alliances are forged only to be broken" But he was killed before the conversation went there, and when I said "I need to form alliances" the whole conversation ended (becouse Bishop was dead, he couldn't speak and the conversation was broken).

Now I'm at the bridge mission. This time, they picked Casivir! Poor poor paladin. When I got to war-room to talk about mission, he was dead (I could hear fighting sounds while I was talking to Nasher and Nevalle). The conversation broke at some part again. I re-talked to Kana, she asked me if I was ready. When I said I was, the mission started. The broken conversation denied me from getting companions.

Resting doesn't work and I have no control. I do not know what to do.

My second problem. I killed Elanee at Circle of the Mere. I always treated her bad and when she left me, I killed her. I am a chaotic evil necromancer sonuvamysteriousstranger. Anyway, after I completed the bridge mission (it was fun to do it alone) and got back to Keep and all, it was eventually the time for war. It seemed as if a cutscene was starting but it suddenly ended. I found myself in the fields outside of keep. Alone. At night. Just before I was to burst a wtf? I realized this was where Elanee would speak to me. But she's dead. But the scene triggered. And I wasn't able to leave the map, resting doesn't work and I can't do anything.

My last save was just after Jerro's Karabarus (whatever the devil's name is) event, so gonna go back to keep, report that it's ready, take the bridge mission and all. Do you think it will happen again? Any ideas?

A friend of mine told me she had both problems with the latest patches (tbh not sure if i have the latest.. i think i patched it up.. sometime... I think). So I thought I should ask around.

Any leads?

Some of my partymembers have been killed as well, but mostly it's Elanee's badger vs. my panther (yeah, I'm a druid :p )

Even the panther seems to enjoy killing Elanee once in a while, and every time it's after the 'Entangle' spell has been cast.
When Qara cast's Evard's Black Tentacles, some of the other party members occationally attacks her afterwards.

I'm thinking it's the area spells, but it doesn't explain members like bishop (unless he's casting entangle as well).

As for your second problem with the "conversation" with Elanee, it is a trigger misfiring. Only way to fix that is to reload, I think. :p

I find your relaying of this "bug" amusing.
If you are playing a chaotic evil necromancer, are you really surprised that your party would react like that?
It is in character, even if it is a bug.
And to think of all the times I wanted to smack Qara and didn't, and here you get your party to do it for you.... unintentionally perhaps.
From your description, I can almost imagine you and Nasher and Neville looking at each other and saying WTF?
It almosts sounds like children fighting in the school yard.

Makes you want to say "Now, Now chidren!"

I mean no offense of course.
Are you sure that they did not gang up on casivier (sp) because he was being stuffy again?

lol!

As for you trigger point....
Use the gff editor and set the romance Elanee scene switch to 1.
I think.
Anyway, as always, I reserve the right to be wrong.

My party members seem to go nuts sometimes too and they attack random people. The funny thing is there are times only one or two of them do it. The first time it happened Shandra attempted to kill Sand (I love Sand and I was like WTF......!!!). Once Khelgar and Neeshka killed my boar and my kitty (I'm an arcane archer) for no reason, and stuff like that. There is no way my kitty or my boar can do AoE, so I don't think it's because of AoE spells. They've also tried to kill me and kill Casavir too, and we are not undeads... as far as I know. I don't know why this happens, but I usually just command them to walk away and they usually stop their madness.

Regarding Elanee... I really don't know, I'm a treehugger and I've never killed her! You can try with the rs gr_dm cheat, and ask the dm to take her into the party, but I don't know if that would work.

I hope you get it fixed!

It happened to me only once, and it turned out to be they were under the influence of a "Confusion" spell, which caused them to consider allies as enemies.

They attacked my animal companion in the middle of the Docks, and all those pesky assassins and what walking around there was dead as well, so no one had any spell effects on them.

It only happened twice to me as well, but they were not under any influence at the time.
