Help with Half-Elf Cleric/Scorerer.. cant cast spells.

Okay, just started a new game. Made a half-elf Cleric with good stats in Wisdom og Charisma. I wanted to try a cleric/scorerer character. Okay, so I have just leveled him up from 1 to 2. I choose the scorerer class. Take off all my armor etc. Rest. But when I wake up, I cant cast 1st level spells. The whole level is grayed out. The "level 0" spells are there (light etc) and all my cleric spells.
The spells I choose are also listed on the character sheet (Sleep and Magic missile.) but I cant cast them.

Am I missing something?!?

Is your CHA score 10? That would enable you to cast cantrips but not first level spells. You need a CHA of 10 plus the level of the spell in order to cast sorcerer spells (ie-CHA of 13 to cast 3rd level spells). If you have a 16 CHA and still can't cast sorcerer spells, I'd say you should report it to UbiSoft and see if that's one of their known issues.

Ohh well. Guess ill start over then.. cause he has wis 15 and chr 16.... bugger!

Update:
Would someone like to test this out for me. Nice to see if this really is a bug. It shouldnt take too long to do:

Race: Half-Elf
Class: Cleric
Wis: 15
Chr: 16

Just do the basic stuff in the first level, talk to the merchant, go the the elves. That should be enough to level up. I have tried it 2 times now. Every time first level spells are grayed out.

Read the manual very carefully about the changes in what stats do. Charisma is now essential for sorcs, and to an extent for clerics, paladins, and rangers.

For sorcerors, the combat-related spells are greyed out except during combat. This pretty much leaves the cantrips during the early levels. If you go to the inventory screen and push the spells button, they should all be there - and they'll be there when you need them during combat.

Doh!, all this fuss for nothing. Magic missile and Sleep are combat spells. I knew this damn it!...

Sorry for wasting your time and thanks waking me up :D
