Best weapon
ive played the game a few times. I been wandering whats the best steel and silver weapon and were or how to get it.
Have you seen my brain around here? No? well in case you see it its brainy and squishy looking. If you see it let me know
Best Silver Sword u get it as a gift from the lady of the island, from lake....
I got 2 steel sword which both were very good, one from the messenger body in the swamps in chap3, and later in chap5 u get it as reward from saving the princess 8 removing the curse if i am not mistaken.
i tried many combination of runes with the blacksmith none were better than those mentioned swords

I think that the best steel sword in the game is the Mahakaman Rune Sihill. You'll get this sword in the Field in chapter 4. But if you use the Patch 1.2 then you must complete the quest "Won't Hurt A Bit" for Zahin Schnatz, he'll give it to you or collect all 10 beasts trophies for the Royal Huntsman. Another way to get this sword is to complete the quest "Mud and Velvet" in Chapter 5 without giving money to the cousins, report back to Jean Pierre then fight him. He carries the Mahakaman Rune Sihill...
P/S: Damage of this sword is +100%

Well, there is this steel sword sold by a blacksmith in the Lakeside village in Chapter 4 which is better than the red meteorite sword. It's not much, but it is a decent weapon for the time being until you get that Mahakam sword.Wits wrote:It's unfortunate that the game is nearly over by the time you can get the Mahakaman sword though. Is there something to strive for earlier in the game, say around chapter two or three?
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
Thank you so much for the tip about the Harvall!! I got it just before turning in the letter which finished off Worth Its Weight In Gold and then fought on the side of the squirrels at the Golem clearing in the quest Force Recon. That sword mowed through the soldiers like a hot knife through buttah!
