Did you check the walkthrough for sites? Remember, your loot quality rises depending upon your level. At your level, just about any site will have quality goods.

But caves/forts with vampires and bandits tend to yield more in terms of profit than, say, a goblin cave. For example, the fort outside Anvil has a constant supply of bandits with Deadric or Glass armor. Seeing as Anvil is so close by, you could sell all of them within two trips and make a hefty profit.

I didn't mention goblin caves. The only reference to location types in the thread so far was to "mine/ayleid ruin/fort/etc."

What is the name of this fort? I never knew that some forts/caves/etc. resupplied enemies, after I go through them i never go back cause I thought that there wasn't going to be anyone there.

It only has the armor when you're at the appropriate level.

IHMO, above level 25 or so, the most convenient source of quick cash is Vilverin (the Ayleid ruin right across from the imperial sewer exit you come out of at the very beginning of the game). Every few days the inhabitants respawn, two bandits outside and about a dozen more on the first two levels. At high levels they'll have glass armour and magic weapons. Load up, take a quick jog back to the imperial city merchant district right across the lake and net about 15-20K gold. Rinse and repeat.

At lower levels finding a merchant with a good disposition and bartering make a big difference, but at high levels you want to go to the merchant who has the most cash on hand, period. No matter how much Jensine likes you, she just isn't gonna come close to list price on glass armor. Rohsann at the weapons shop has up to 1200 gold per item, 1700 if you're an expert of mercantile and invest in her shop, 2200 if you're a master of mercantile. If you have Bethesda's Battlehorn Hall plugin, the guy that sells you the furniture for the castle has a base 2000 gold per item, which you can raise to 3000 if you're a master of mercantile.

Another good ruin is Nornal, an Ayleid Ruin. Its an undead ruin, and you must be able to get on top of water (River Walk: waterwalk 15 sec, scroll) or a high athletics

Also high athletics nets you two really easyVarla stones

Also try Rockmilk Cave, right outside of Bravil, it has constant Black Bow bandit/marauder fights so most enemies are dead already. Also you can sell black bows to Marius Caro, Count of Leyawiin

Most enemies will replenish themselves after a few days. I'm not sure what the name of the fort is, as I haven't played Oblivion for quite some time. It is the nearest fort to Anvil. Look at our GB maps, and you will find it to the east of that aforementioned town.
