forgive me if you'll found my question too retarded. :(

Help, this is my first time playing an RPG, and I'm always frustrated whenever my save files are deleted whenever I open again Baldurs gate, is this a bug, or a crush, also my export characters are also lost. Help me how to repair this problem? It's so tiring to start all over since I found Baldur's gate soooo dificult, even killing a wolf requires a potion for me to survive, and I hate it since potions are soo pricey for a begginer. I always use the hit and run tactic, but I found huge hitpoint critters too time-wasting and difficult to kill.

and also, is there a bad effect if I edit my characters?
What is the benefits of Tutu?
Does Tutu also work on Baldur's gate alone, without the expansion?

have you tried installing patches yet? also, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? i would say that your best bet would be to start from scratch. uninstal and then reinstall game, then install at least the official patch, try a game, save, restart game, and see if that works.

keep us updated on your progress!!

I have another question regarding on the fireball spell.

Is there any way to prevent the fireball area effect damage from hitting your allies, because whenever I cast fireball near a creature, it inflicts damage to nearby NPC and my companions. I find fireball useless against melee attackers, the more they come near, the more you have to keep distance in order to prevent you and your alies from being hit in area effect range.

And also, how to resurrect your companions when you're not a priest, is there an item that resurrects them?

There is no way to prevent the fireball from hitting your allies except either casting it in a spot where they won't be hit or by giving them a high resistance to fire.

I cast the spell at melee range because at the time I had about 80% fire resistance, so it's not useless.

You can raise your allies without having a cleric in your party by going to the nearest temple and paying them to cast a Raise Dead spell on the dead party member.
