For those in the past who watched my BG2 speedrun I posted in 2005, I am sure you will enjoy the 2008 one done in 47 minutes.
Speed Demos Archive - Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn
And for the mods I have done a similar thread in the past and it wasn't a problem as far as I can remember.
Anyway, enjoy and comments are welcomed.

Saw it a couple of days ago. Never knew vampires could be killed with a single Death spell (i suck with spells). Interesting...

The DEATH spell always killed vampires no matter what patch you have... did you even try to do it before accusing me?
I patched the game with the official bioware patch and nothing else. SDA allows no cheat and no outside patch for obvious reasons.

Your first speedrun was posted in 2007, not 2005. It's still in the database. Feel free to link to it, if you wish, perhaps in your sig.

You weren't being accused of anything. Someone assumed that you had patched the game because of the way a spell acted. They also complimented you in the same post. As they're wrong, politely pointing that out is all that's needed.

the first bg2 speedrun was posted and made in 2005. The one right now was made in 2007 and posted in 2008.
I also have a Throne of bhaal speedrun, done and posted in 2007 as well.
Oh and I apologize if I sound rude.. It's something bad about my personality. Probably my french roots.

Perhaps that first one was posted on another board. I've checked, and you made your first post in 2007. You registered this account on May 9th, 2007. The latter is nothing we can change.
I also have a Throne of bhaal speedrun, done and posted in 2007 as well.
That we have in our database. If you wish to post your earlier speedrun, I'm sure that would be appreciated by many people.

We appreciate your cooperation, he said as he slid Carsomyr back into its scabbard.

I must admit I am not too impressed by the use of creaturesize glitches to "teleport" to areas not yet "unlocked" or to gain lots and lots of gold because of another glitch. It's not a speedrun, it's a speed-bypass IMO. I suppose that's part of the speedrun community though. The Diablo 1 speedrun is particularly demonstrative of this. Using save/reload to have all the stairs very close to eachother, and using a glitch to gain a lot of gold.
The parts where you actually play the game instead of bypassing it completely were nice to see though, and show you are familiar with the intricacies of the game.
