Traffik-funny happenings

Hi fellow kindred,

recently I played through this game with Tremere and I can say that with this character it was very easy :D . I already played this game with Toreador, Gangrel and Malkavian but in this time something funny happened during the Traffik quest from Larry. I was sneaking all the way through to 4th level in parking area and when I got the briefcase then boss of the Chinesse started to walk to Thugs and suddenly they started to fight with each other  . These groups killed each other and I just walked out up to the exit with just 2 or 3 fights  . It never happened to me before. Before I had to always fight with these guys.

Did it also happened to you or it is just a bug or something:speech:?

I have patch 4,5 unofficial installed in my computer and maybe it is due to this.

I'm pretty sure that this was implemented in the patch (although I don't know since which version) because I'm somewhat new to this game too and the first time I finished the game I had only installed the 1.2 patch (or was playing without it, can't remember) you had to fight everyone.

I suppose this level was originally intended to end this way, as the two gangs obviously don't like each other and are dealing in something out of the law; when the briefcase dissapears chaos begins, although you still have to deal with the surviving goons.

Exactly. If I remember correctly there was a bug that causes this event not to trigger sometimes.

There's no script that makes the gangs of the garage fight each other either, so if it's a coded event it's buried somewhere in the source code.
Happened to me too once, yeah.
