I was trying to debug my crashes by operating in windowed mode last night.

The manual says in windowed model you can scroll the screen by moving the cursor to the edges of the window or by using the arrow keys, but neither of these worked. Is there a way to fix this?

Try moving the mouse to the edges of the monitor instead. To scroll, in my experience, they have to be outside the game window.
