I seem to have trouble invoking the special effects from any items. I've tried clicking, right clicking, right double clicking, ctrl/shift/alt clicking, and the best I can get it to do is either equip/unequip or beep at me. I played the game through without invoking items since I never came across any items I really cared about invoking anyway, but I'm now at the end of the game, beat the final boss demon, and all I need to do is free who's his name from the crystal prison and end the game. To free him I need to 'invoke' the special property on the horn of power. Lots of time wasted trying to get this 'invoke' to happen, but haven't figured out the 'trick'. Any ideas for this 'newb' who has 'almost' completed the game? hehe

You should notice an "invoke" button on the inventory panel. Press it and then select the item you want to invoke.
