where did he go?

So, I just finished the Asylum and am supposed to go with Saemon. I met him in the inn and got the horn quest, then I went and got the horn, but now I can't find Saemon anywhere! I've never had this problem before in the dozen or so times I've played. Does anyone know how to trigger Saemon to appear? I really don't want to forego the Sahuagin city and my last save, pre-horn, is before the asylum.

he should be at the far SE end of the docks by the boat (on your map there are 2 boats, its the one on the right you need to be at)
if he is not there and you followed all the proper steps (check the walk through for Brynnlaw), then it looks like your going to have to do it over again
p.s. #8 is missing on the map in the walk through, but its where i said it would be (i have reported it)

Yeah, I walked around everywhere... twice, and no slimy pirate. Man, I really want to kill him now! I was hoping that I just missed some trigger or something.
ok, so I found him. Apparently, he can't figure out doorways and is still in the Vulgar Monkey. So, the new problem is getting him out so that the dialogue triggers take us to the ship with Desharik. As it is, the first dialogue triggers but because we can't get to the boat there is no follow-up and Saemon won't talk to me any more.
