I would like to see THIS

I think it would be great if someone like Bioware made a game like BG but in the Dragonlance-realm. I mean, imagine it, instead of encountering Drizzt and his friends, you could bump into the Companions of the Lance

I would LOVE that! Again, just a thought. Don't know if anyone's brought this up before, but it would be nice if such thing happened, IMHO.

I would too.
But (this is just from my memory only) I can give you two of the reason's I have seen why it will not most likely happen.
1. The characters from Dragon Lance are considered too 'God-like' in power.
2. The Forgotten Realms has more material to pull information from.
As I said this is just from the posts I have read on why it has/will not be made.

If you mean the companions then I suppose you're wrong. I'm not sure though. One of my first games ever were Heroes of the Lance and Dragons of Flame. The first one was Dragonstrike

I have lost their manuals which really bothers me. I can't remember most of their stats anymore. But I do remember that Flint had the most HP and he had 52...or was it 65? He had different hp in each game. And that isn't that much really as you well know.
The material-thing may be correct...still, I would love to see the game...I think we all would.

1. Either you are calling me a lair or,
2.You do not know how the hell to read.
Take your pick.
I said twice I saw post on this , nothing else. What every your calling me wrong about I have no idea... maybe a little reading on your part would show you this.

@Weasel, calm down lad....
A couple of corrections. The number one reason, IMO, why we won't be seeing a Dragonlance game in the future, is because it has been canned in the 3rd edition D&D. Thus I don't think that WotC will support a Dragonlance CRPG. This is sad but true.
I respect that you have read that about the companions of the lance, but not everything you read is true. Thus I am not questioning your reading ability, but I am questioning the contents of the post that you have read. I don't think that the characters in Dragonlance are any more God-like then when compared to a huge number of characters from the Forgotten Realms world. If I even have to be honest, then it is my personal feeling that the Forgotten Realms is more power and magic intensive world.

Calm down man, I didn't mean to offend you. And you're right, I didn't notice the last line

But still, I say that they're not very god-like, except Raistlin in a certain phase. Or Fizban, but he's like Elminster, very powerful but doesn't use his powers that much. At least that's what I THINK. I also think that is no reason to get mad.
And I really don't know either of these realms too well, so I can't say if it's about material or not. I don't have an opinion on that. And I'm NOT calling you a liar, I just said that the chars are not god-like. Satisfied with this?

I happen to agree with you , I don't find them too powerful. My gripe was your comment about me being wrong about something I have seen. I too wish a Dragon Lance version would be made...but as Flagg stated it looks to be slim now.

Yeah I'm sorry about that, as I said, I didn't notice it the first time and my description wasn't the best either. Conclusion: Everyones hopefully happy and a Dragonlance CRPG would be cool but it's very unlikely that there will be one.
