de'Arnise Romance version 2 is now available. The mod adds a new romance track to displaced debutante Nalia de'Arnise, late of the Keep and lately of the Copper Coronet.

The update fixes Nalia's restoration dialogue, adds journal entries to her quest, streamlines an early lovetalk, and makes other minor improvements.

Has anyone had the opportunity to play this through yet? My only reservation is it's lack of ToB content.

IMPOV it is well done

although i must admit i coulndt enjoy it as much as, say sarileth, because i disagree with the editors understanding of nalias character i think she would act differently but as i said this is my humble opinion ;)

I'm hoping somebody can help me with this problem...

I've been playing with the Nalia pack and been doing the old romacing thing with Nalia, that however, did not stop Aerie also trying to romance my character. So I decided to string them both along. But since starting this Nalia has ceased talking to me (as one would expect!), does this mean the Nalia romance is now off and the new de'Arnise quests are lost to me?

Should I start again and ignore Aerie this time or just play on?

I would guess so, but it is impossible to tell without more details. When two ladies start fighting over you, there usually comes a dialogue where one or the other gives an ultimatum. If you remember that dialogue and you were rude to Nalia, that is a pretty good indication that the romance is dead. If you don't remember such a dialogue (and there may not be one for the Nalia romance, it has been ages since I played this and I didn't allow any of the other romanceable ladies to join my party) then the only way to tell for sure is to get a game editor and check the romance variables. ShadowKeeper is my favorite, but many people like InfinityExplorer. I don't know if either of these are still available on the web, but Google would tell you pretty quickly. You can also experiment with the CLUA Console. The variable name is probably going to be something like "NaliaRomanceActive" but I can't guarantee it. A value of 1 or 2 means your are still good. 3 means the romance is ended (again assuming that this romance follows the pattern of the official romances, which I think is the case, but can't guarantee). Good luck.

No one can aswer this but you. Restart if you are trying specifically for the Nalia romance. Don't if you have qualms about role-playing purity or just don't care about Nalia. I have played her romance through and it is one of my favorites, but I have always been partial to Nalia so I may be biased. (I really wish someone had completed one of the various Mazzy romances that were started, but that is another story.)

Thank you!

Since I'm more interested in the additional quests I'll start again and keep Nalia on my good side, no more trying to be the big man.
