Passage to Loghaire problem

I've reached the end of the Dredge, in a room full of rock giants (in blue) with a huge molten giant (in red).
Surprisingly, all the monsters were alive, even though i've read elsewhere the monsters are suppose to be dead.

after killing all the giants, i've tried to proceed through the entrance to see Loghaire, but my characters does not go through / load to the next scenario.

tried putting on the glasses, but does nothing.

anyone can shed light what in the world is happening here?

That is not the passage to the king.

The place you describe is under the actual passage.
The thing you're looking for is indicated as "8" in the above link.

i see now the place i describe is #7.
thx for the help. i can carry on with the story line now.
