Paladin stronghold q (spoiler)

Post by Sanguin »

Hey guys,

upon completion of the Rescue Garren's Child quest, I returned to the city seeking the leaders of the Order as I had been advised. They accepted me in the Order, and granted me a room "behind Sir Willian Reirrac". Now this is where my problem starts! There are three Knights behind him, and a room already occupied. How do I tell my place apart from the rest? I tried resting in every corner, including the storage rooms (altough I couldn't help feeling offended, having to sleep among sacks of wheat and rusty cutlery, but that's another matter) but I don't seem to be able to rest anywhere. Nor do I find any containers which I could use for storing my equipment.

If anyone knows the solution please let me know!

Best regards,
a homeless paladin

Patch your game. A known bug is that Paladins can't rest in their stronghold.

I was never able to sleep in my Stronghold, having finished a fully patched game as paladin twice. It's a pity, but for gameplay reasons even sleeping in the streets works fine.
Sage plays a paladin,
because other classes would be frowned upon for laying their hands on a wounded companion

Patch worked fine, thanks again. I can now rest poperly at the Order.
However, I'm running an evil party led by a thief paralell with this one, and I have to say that it's a major disadvantage to be a Paladin in this regard... :speech:
I mean, thieves not only have a very cool multi-storey building all to themselves but they also get to manage to whole underworld of Athkatla! Spies, assassins, pickpockets, rogues at their disposal, and a cool questline, on top of that... In light of that, as a paladin, I should be able to lead the Order or at least judge whether the squires are worthy of the title "Sir"! :p
