this fxxx skull is easier than i meet in Balaur's GateⅡ.
it can cast some spell to imprison you out of the game, and the game hang in Balaur's GateⅡ.
it can't do that in NWN1 HoU fortunately.
you have to increase your attack ability, high damage & high hit chance
it will make you killing it easier.
don't waste time to cast spell that can protect you. the skill can dispel
any magic protect from you.

Here are some common tactics (because I don't see any here, and that's not helpful) you can use against the Maker Demilich and similar high-powered spell casters.
Fighters, Barbarians, Monks, Paladins and Clerics with low Wisdom scores (holy bashers), Rogues, and indeed any Pretige Class that makes its way in the world by clubbing things over the head: Don't waste your time buffing up and make sure you have something kick-ass in your hands. Buffing takes time, time that the Demilich is also using to make itself more powerful and it goes without saying that the Demilich has better buffs than you. That said, rush-rush-rush! and make sure you have a weapon of ultimate kickassery to boot! Bypass the damage reduction and increase the amount of damage that gets through, increase your attack rating and go two-handed to maximize your number of connecting attacks and disrupt spells mid-casting. Have Risolvir make you a weapon with the Haste quality and have it be at least +5-7 for the greatest amount of bitchslap for this strategy.
Clerics and Paladins with high charisma scores: Again, don't bother with buffing DURING the fight. If you do buff, then buff up beforehand and rush through dialog. Turn that mother straight off. If it doesn't work, try again while your straight-up-warrior minions do their thing and keep trying unless you know it's impossible (keep track of the battle info and pause often to read it). If it's impossible then start bashing and be ready with resurrection and healing spells... which should be killer against your undead foe anyway if used offensively, but this might not work if the Demilich has globed or mantled itself and you might just have to go basher with a good weapon in hand, hope for the best, and be ready with an Empowered healing spell or two when things turn nasty.
Paladins and Champions of Torm only: Lay on Hands. By the time you make it to the Maker your Lay on Hands will be so severely destructive to Undead that you're very likely to outright destroy the Demilich with that ability alone. To maximize effectiveness, carry a good Nymph Cloak with you for this battle or borrow the one you gave to Deekin if you're stupid enough to have him spend ANY levels on his Bard class.
Bards: You're screwed, Bards suck, sorry. I hope you have good minions or have spent levels in Red Dragon Disciple and/or Sorcerer to make you not suck.
Wizards and Sorcerers: Unless you have access to Timestop and Empowered spells disregard this strategy and prepare to reload your game because without this spell and this feat victory is NOT assured. Immedately begin casting Timestop and then pause to queue up Greater Spell Breach, and then TWO Empowered Isaac's Greater Missile Storm. This will strip any sort of Globes and Mantles the Demilich will have cast on itself AND open it up for the Storms to rape the floating lil' bastard.
I think it's worth noting that the Spell Caster strategy also works against the Valsharess who, if you act quickly, will be totally sodomized by your white hot discharge.
