where is Haste Scroll!!!

I started a new mage for my pc and wanted to minimize the bash and run technique ( which is mainly just charge in with minsc with coran in the back picking wizards off with bow). I do fairly well but i would like to learn haste for my pc mage... but i cannot find the scroll. I know you can get it in baldurs gate but is there anywhere like in wilderness areas where someone drops a haste scroll?

Use the walkthrough here on GB. On top of my head, I think Khelben Blackstaff near Bereghost sells this scroll.

Kelben Blackstaff?? i didnt even know he was in this game. Are u refereing to the guy at high hedge thaylater or whatever. Because in my game he doesnt sell haste in that shop but only like lighting bolt and another scroll for 3rd level spells.

also i started a regular mage but i am not sure if i should start over and specialize or not. I would like all types of spells though

I know that it is available in the Cloakwood mines, but then you will already have the boots of speed by then. There are a number available in Durlag's tower, in the level after defeating Love, Avarice, Greed and Fear.
