Shadowkeeper and Imoen - some help

Post by Sensei »

Hi

Just finished playing SoA and decided to go through it one more time - this time customizing the characters a little.

I've read some of the forums about SK and Imoen and it did not really answer my question.

My question - I want to make Imoen a better thief - ie make her a higher level thief - instead of level 7 make her level 12 for example - the question is how do I go about doing that using SK and make sure she has all the required attributes of a thief at level 12?

I want her mage /dual status to remain as they are - I just want her to be a better thief before dualing her to a mage.

In SK set her level, thieving skills, proficiencies, and XP to zero, reset her hit points to ten (if you set them lower she'll run screaming from the dungeon as per script), set her class to thief and select whichever kit you think appropriate.

Load up your edited save in game, and level her up to 1st level thief, save and exit.

In SK set her XP to the amount necessary for the level you desire.

Load up your edited save in game, and level her up to whatever level thief, then dual class her. Et voila, mission accomplished. For honesties sake I guess you should then deduct 10 HP in SK.

I'd advise leaving it until after you've rescued her from Spellhold though, because if you don't you'll have to do it all over again when you do. I'd suggest giving her another 400,000 XP once she's been dual-classed, just to speed things up a bit.
