I was just wonder what do you guys think I should get with my tokens I usually get the boots and leave the armor but idk I'm thinkin of switchin it up what do you guys think?

i usually prefer the boots too

How could one possibly take anything except the Boots of Speed?

Armour is easy to get however good boots are extremely hard to come by. Boots of speed (without TOB) are the best boots in the game.

For myself, I never miss the opportunity to get more BoS. There's been some debate recently here, unresolved, over whether they increase the number of attacks you get. But nobody denies that they increase movement speed, and even let you outrun some spells (such as Illithid domination).

my vote too - BoS and then with the change, BoF

I've never been able to slay the three clay gollems in that room that seals itself anyway. I always run out of useful spells and available rests (before the darkness inside takes a hold of me) to make it an effective battle. Heh, sometimes I simply didn't bring the right characters in my party to Spellhold.

Hasted gollems are evil. BoS all the way.

Yeah I ended up doing BoS and BoF like I always do haha, how many BoS can you get btw just the three?

Before ToB? Yes, I believe it's three.

Iirc you can get 2 in SoA and a total of 5 (remember this, because it isn't enough for a full party)

SoA boots of speed
- Spellhold
- Planer prison

ToB boots of Speed
- First of the 5 (forgot her name)
- Sold in Saradush inn
- Sold by the Saradush magic man (forgot his name too)

Don't forget that Renal Bloodscalp is also carrying a pair.

Also, the first of the Bhaalspawn you meet in ToB is called Illasera and the shopkeep is Lazarus Librarus.

All the years I`ve been playing this game, I`ve only ever managed to find 19 of these tokens.
I only ever want the BOS anyway, but where is the odd token?

if you have ToB and can use tab to highlight interactive objects, all the better -

I don't have the game to hand (at work) so from memory

check corpses all the time, just in case.

there is the picture room and the antechamber - check pool, pots and things - near door?
there is the troll room - check pots
there is the odd rough-hewn side room near the statue - check trough
there are the creatures behind the paintings (don't think there any there)
there is the golem room
there is a pot in a corridor, I think
there is the study by the machine - check desk, pots etc
there is a minotaur room off the statue room

I think that most tokens are in pots, but check out everything!
