What would you like to see in BG III/Thrones of Bhaal?

Just toss off some suggestions.
for BG III:
3d characters. All throughout the game their are amazing looking weapons, staffs like the elemental staffs/ thunder n lightning staff and the staff of the magi, they ALL look cool, and I would love to have that show.
More race choices, I WANT TO BE A DROW.
I want more references to out divinity. off-hand condescending remarks to people like bandits. I'd also like special items/equipment to have an effect in discussion. You'd think that when I go into a building with Shadow Dragon scale armour, followed by a mage with a Staff of the Magi, another guy with Red Dragon scale armour, and someone with Shadow Armour, all carrying weapons that glow with the power of legends people aren't going to dismiss you as an "annoyance." Most would probably run like hell.
A redesign of the reputation system if they are allowed. It should be divided into game/infamy and karma. Party members go by Karma, other people go by fame/infamy, and, THEY BOTH HAVE THE SAME EFFECT. I.E. Shopkeeps lower prices 50% for 20 fame or infamy, they respect you as a good guy or fear you blast them and their families into itty bitty bits of magically incinerated goop.
If the above is not doable, at least make things like reputation not count in the underdark (look, he's a paladin of helm, lets give him a good price!)
More creatures of legend, maybe even a Tarrasque ; )
Also, I'd kinda like being able to places in other planes more often.

Off the top of my head:
1. More available kits
2. More NPC that will join you and from different classes/kits

@Giles the Sorcerer....I agree..I hate having to play as a Goody to be able to play my favorite (Paladin).
A Anti-Paladin or make it where you have to choose what church/god your Paladin is for would be great.

Honestly, I would like to see the entire character paper dolls and avatars revamped completely.
Fighters should look like propper beefy fighters.
Rangers should actually have cloaks and hooded appearances.
Paladins should look like the god worshiping holy men they are (shiny armour, clean polish and tall, elegant, yet strong stance)
etc etc...
I just think that there should be a definite distinction between the classes. Like every male human, be it cleric, fighter, thief etc etc, all looks the same without armour on... pretty crappy and lame way of doing things IMO.

I agree with the paperdoll situation, although completely class-specific paperdolls might consume more space than the designers are willing to create, it'd certainly be a nice feature.
it'd also be cool if the relationships that you built with NPCs in BG2 (intimate and otherwise) would simply just continue on, as if the game never ended.

Actually Drow is not a race, its a elf sub-race, like the moon elves, gold elves, green elves, sea elves, avariel and one that can change its form to a wolf (their all blue, cant remenber subrace name)
If you want to play a drow, use shadow keep and edit your character.

More NPCs to join with you, and maybe even backstab you.
If the romance thing is kept, give the females more of an option to "get some" than just one whiney guy...Ummm maybe make the guys not whiney.
More of an option for us to play evil characters and have things based around us being evil instead of both evil and good alligned characters doing the same quests with different dialogue choices.
No cities with a ban on magick that we have to buy a permit for.
Let us create more characters than just our main guy like is done with IWD, but still have NPCs that will be able to join us.

I'd like greater expression of character- mostly cosmetic changes. Allowing to choose more colors (i.e. main colors for both shirt and pants, then trim colors for the same.)
I'd like to see the addition of capes and cloaks.
Choose the appearance of your armor (wicked, righteous, or varying degrees in between).
Choose character's height and weight, and have it reflect on their appearance.
These are just a few, but they'd really make me happy. I'd also like more choices for character kits. The more, the better.

@ Drakron...Lythari is the name of the shapechanging elves

@T'lainya Yes, that is correct, I cant remenber every thing from memory, and there are a few more elven sub-races but not in Toril
I just like to be any multi-class kits. that is all.
I like the engine, its quite good and efective to this type of game, I hope since the AD&D license will go to 2005 that it will a BG III and some IWD like games.
It can be done, since it was Black isle and not Bioware that made the PS:T and IWD.

Another I'd like is more dialogue, or better used dialogue, it was kinda sad that when I became the avatar form of a god only one person mentioned it, meanwhile their are 35 romance dialogues with Jaheira (and no-one makes it past the first 3-4 before someone sneezes on her...)

I'd also like more self standing NPC's. For instance, if you directed Keldorn to kill an innocent, he'd refuse, rather than just balking at the reputation loss he got from doing the bad deed. NPCs that stand up for their beliefs.

AI fix
Boy "Look ma! The Children of Bhaal and Creatures of the purest evil are duking out in Waukeen's promenade and tossing magics that rival those of Elminister! Can we watch? pretty please?
Guard "I'm gonna kill you for starting a brawl in this town! Those Githyanki were not causing any problems!"
Minsc, "Anomen is in the doorway, hmmmm lets go alll the way around the dungeon and walk through that huge MO#@$@#@ press in the other hallway! Yipee!"

OK, lets try and be realistic here people, it's only an expansion. Fixes such as AI improvements would not be expansion only, they'd be patch, and thus their inclusion in the expansion would be convinience rather than part of it as they'd be on the site for download anyway.
I think we can expect the usual, more locations, more people, more quests, more fun

heirophant ablities to be added at the proper level, my druid is the only 21'st level non-heirophantic druid i've heard of in ad&d
(other then other player's of this game)
more druid ablities from the books added would be nice and the intricruites that made their shapeshifting such a powerful tool if used right would be nice...
don't get me wrong, the fact that they actually have druids while so many games keep them out is nice, but they can be better...
also more intrigue and politics

Better AI for pathfinding, larger active zones for doors and machines to lessen "you must gather..." and "you must be closer than that..."
More balance in gameplay for evil and good players.

Two different endings, one for the good path, one for the evil path, so basically two differnt story lines depending on your alignment.
More NPC's
Swearing, come on, we all do it, is a knife's at your throat, don't grovel.
The chance to venture from Amn and the Sword Coast (i.e Baldur's Gate one area). Really huge, but bigger plot
A seperate group, oppossite to your alignment, doing the same things as you, as if someone else was playing your game at the same time.

You can do this through Multiplayer option.
And I TOTALLY agree about the Paper Dolls (and maybe even some more class/race specific portraits built in). If anyone's interested, the only redeeming quality of the games 'Rage of Mages' I & II were the Paper Dolls.....

Misread the title first time.
OK, AI is in desperate need of improvement. Sorry, but having enemy wizards casting spells at skeletons and casting pierce magic at people with no magical protection, is rather sad.
The paper dolls in BG2 were terrible, even the BG1 ones were better. Some class related ones would indeed rock.
I would disagree with two endings. That's way too much work. Prehaps a slight variation on the ending depending on alignment, but I'd rather they put their all into the story. I would like to see alignment have a bigger impact though. There should be quests which offer you the chance to gain gold and lose reputation (like a grave robbery, or murdering someone). But it'll be made by an American developer, so won't happen.
I'd like to see NPC interaction a little more evenly spread out over the game, rather than lots at the beginning fading away as the game wears on.
I'd like to see NPCs who join you for the first time, at least have a level some what enar your own. It was fustrating saving Imoen only to find she was waaaaaaay beneath you in levels.
What I'd really like to see though, is your choices having more affect on the game. If you betray someone, let other people act like you're at -1 chrisma or something.
More voice acting too.
