Poster Session

-Spoiler Warning-

The quest in question is called "Poster Session" and it is just a side quest. You get it after "The epic of the..." and you are talking to Gary on the phone after retrieving his spy.

He basically tells me (I'm playing a Toreador Female) that he will swap a gorgeous poster of Jeanette Voerman (You know, that crazy malcavian chick in The Asylum) for a tape of a old movie of his called "Tap Hotel". You are supposed to place it in your mailbox at Skyline and he will drop the poster off at the same place.

This is the first and only time I play this game, So I do not know if this quest is from a patch or if they just somehow missed to put it up here on the website.

Anyway, I have been inside Flynn's "The Sin Bin" and looked in the shelves, but I did not see any and it didn't help talking to the man either. I found a tape called "Jock Shot's Swimsuit Shoot", but it was not that one.

So, do you have any suggestions on what to do next?

It is there actually, under a separate category: VtMB. Haven Posters

A small number of quest aren't clearly logged in the questlog. They got their own special category.

Edit: Photo finish! I lost. :(

It's a nice poster... too bad it's stuck to the wall and not placed in the inventory where I can bring it up to have a nice good look. Heh! :D

Yes. In the unofficial plus patch I added logs to those that were more than just a single conversation...

Haha, Yeah ;) You get the Venus photo in your inventory thou (And you can sell it for lots of money)

Anyway, Thanks Greg. It's so obvious now. I never thought about it, since every quest was there on the side.

And since I'm playing a female (And I am a female too!) I wish you got some male posters too. Not that I am complaning, but if there is womanposters there should be maleposters too. If it does not vary if you play male/female, it should at the least be 50-50.

I can appreciate that, but OTOH, there is a problem. The only really good eye-candy for a woman are the veritable poster-boys for 'I don't give a darn'. Really. Can you see Nines primping for a camera? He's more likely to grab the camera and whack the photographer with it. If you happen to dig on the 'cosmopolitan' vibe, LaCroix is so stuck up I'll give you five to ten his tee-shirt is Brooks Brothers - and he sleeps with it on, if semi-formal pajamas and a velvet Smoking Jacket aren't entirely out of the question. Larry would likely be thrilled to oblige, but...Ewwww. There's just no way that shakes out that doesn't come up ugly somehow.

Larry? :speech: You'd need a wide-angle lense. I'd like Jack, draped across a Harley like the ladies on the covers of bike magazines. You could probably get Nines to pose, if you told him it was for a recruiting poster for the Anarch movement. And the slogan is that, unlike the Camarilla, the Anarchs have nothing to hide, so....

Exactly. And I mean, If Damsel can pose (she was a anarch, right?) why cant Niles (Even if he may whack the cameraman)? And I do not think that the leader of Chinatown would pose like that freely either. I just got that vibe.

I would not mind LaCroix on a poster, But Jack on a MC would be a some eyecandy for my apartment. Larry... Maybe not the hottest of guys out there, eh? ;) . Beckett would also be nice, sitting on a rock or something, with only a towel hiding him from the world. Or a pair of pants. Both goes.

Knox then, maybe? He might pose if Bertram tells him so. If you can get whacky Jeanette to do it, I'm sure the same will work for him.

Or Boris in the Boris and Venus quests. He is not too bad - Would look better without a bit of beard thou.

And if we can't find a willing candidate, throw in the male counterpart of the clan you're in.

She wouldn't - not in a century of Sundays. Gary took that one 'on the sly', as it were. Ergo, the shot is candid, not posed.

As for Nines, well, men tend to be incredibly insecure about such things - even the really buff ones, and Nines was raised during the Great Depression - he's a farm-boy at heart. Women don't mind flaunting things a bit, especially if it's done tastefully. Women were posing nude for paintings in the 18th century. Ever seen a nude portrait of a man - even today?

Jack, you might have a bit more luck with - being as he never gave a darn for rules anyway. Skelter might give it a shot, too. He strikes me as more of a late-20th-century guy.

Skelter?

Anyway, I come up with some new. The Tremere leader (Maybe that is Skelter? I dunno know his name. Wait, Maybe it was maxwell?), but he may be a bit on the Cosmopolitan side too.

Isaak is also lovely in his own way. And I bet you can take sly photos of everyone above. If you have the right equipment time and money.

But I think you are right, Jhereg, on the flaunting part. Makes us women seem a bit loose, but yes, I agree with you.

Skelter is the Anarch at the top of the stairs at the back of The Last Round. The bald guy. Some women think that looks sexy.

I made the mistake of drinking coffee while reading this post and now there is coffee all over my keyboard! I couldn't agree more, I know I'D pay to ahve a Nines poster on MY wall if that was the slogan. Downside would be, so many prissy girls would try to sign up to be Anarchs...one question though...seems everyone has forgotten about Ash..any thoughts on HIM?

Since the newer patches, I can't seem to find the pull toy that's part of Gary's poster quest for an untarnished Tawni Sessions poster. Need assistance. This quest is too new.

Seems this is becoming a catchall thread to discuss everything, which was never the intend of the forums--that's why we have individual threads. ;) That being the case, the thread is closed. If you can't find your answer in the walkthrough, or by using our search function, try posting a new thread.
