The most useless item you've ever found

I was playing through the Severed Hand and found an axe that gave a bonus against dwarves. I believe it was called Glaundor's Chopper or something like that.
*SPOILER ALERT!*
This has to be the most useless weapon I've ever found. In the whole IWD saga there are only 4 dwarves (that I know of), none of which were meant to be killed.
So what other items have you found that were useless to you?

I found a ring in Dorn's Deep which turns the party member who wears it into stone, then kills them.
Sheesh.

You can pull a dead cat from the broken bag of holding. Does that count?

The dead cat from the "Jester's Bag" is probably the most useless as you cannot even sell it for a gold piece, but a couple of close seconds IMHO are the: "Ring of Pain Amplification"
you get off of the "High Torturer" in Dragon's Eye. or the "Gauntlets of Infernal Damnation"
found in a treasure trove in the Frost Giant Cavern..
