Dodging Arrows

I'm not very far into the game but I would like to know if the skill in the dexterity section to avoid arrows is worth it.
You won't get attacked by archers very often, and I don't think arrows do much damage, but you'll get a whole bunch of bronze skill points before the end of the game, so you might as well buy the skill at some point.
