I've been trying to use the teleport cheat but it never takes me anywhere. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure

My question is, what did you do that you think it should work? (some info would be helpfull in that ;) )

Oh, Sorry.

The console command CLUAConsole:MovetoAreaAR0700

It should be: CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR0700").

You edited the .ini file correctly? You typed everything EXACTLY as I wrote it? The console is case sensitive. There should be no period at the very end by the way.

As Crenshinibon mentioned, you need to edit the Baldur.ini file which you can find in your main SoA directory. Add the line "Debug Mode=1" (exact syntax, or it wont work) and save the file--you might want to keep a copy of the original file someplace else in case something goes wrong. You can then use the CluaConsole commands ingame.

This is what my file looks like (first 5lines at least)

[Program Options]
Debug Mode=1
Installing=0
Install Type=3
GLSetup Driver=0

hmmmm

is this the first clua command you have tried? or have you been able to use it before?

That looks about right, Houston. Honestly, I'm not sure what you're doing wrong, then. If you're inserting every command properly, you're probably dealing with a glitch of some sort.

How about you remove that line from Program Options, and instead put "Cheats=1" under "Game Options"?

Try that. It should work.
