No-one would have thought that the war would last for this long, both sides had the tactical advantage over the humans. One had the weaponry, the other had a massive army. But Earth brought about the destruction of what was believed to be an alien outpost.

No-one thouht it possible, tha humans would one day build a mass fleet of ships which where used as Earth's main defence against the two sides. Over 200,00 years have passed since the aliens attacked, and over 11,000 human deaths in the very first wave of attacks.

We thought they where Hunters and the bug aliens where the prey, but we stood in their way. We where the realy prey for both sides. We where the real threat.

It was only a matter of time before Earth's military launched the first human built space craft which would either bring victory, or at lest some hope.

End of Proluge...

Chapter 1...

Soon after the Normandy was launched from Earth, both the Hunter race and the Bug race acted quickly. While still fighting each other the Hunter race launched ships of their own, and from there on in the war fully began.

The USS Normandy launched a full scale attack on one of the Hunter race, with some success. The attack took several days as the Hunters proved to be formitable enemies, but with havey loss to the Normandy. Durring a conflict in space, the Normady took battle damage, first the weapons went down, then the engiens.

But none the less, the fight was won. The war ship of the Hunters was taken down by a bording party who sabotaged the main power system, and soon the planet was under Earth's control.

It was a victory, that would never be forgotten
