clan aundae thing (possible spoiler)

i need some help, i want to join clan aundae and i know a thread like this was made, but i was wondering if finishing the main quest before i attempted this would make it impossible to become a vampire because the second i go into the hq everyone including the leader attacks me. whats going on??
im an imperial but i dont know if that makes a difference

By finishing the main quest you get 100% disease resistance, therefore you cannot contract Porphyric Hemophilia. Just so you know, any vampires always attack you regardless of whether you've completed the MQ or not, and the only way to become a vampire is to let them hit you a couple of times. You can benefit a lot from lowering disease resistance, as it could take quite a while to get infected.

I think it should be possible to create a spell that lowers your disease resistance. Medila Indaren at the Caldera mages guild sells a Weakness to Common Disease spell. You just need to create a stronger variety and cast it on yourself.
