I've killed the shadow dragon but when I go back to Umar Hills and talk to the mayor I can only say that I haven't killed him yet. I'm an Archer so I'd like to have my cabin (and my reward ).

My computer has windows xp 64bit edition installed so maybe that's the problem...

I already tried it 3 times(killing the dragon and talking to the mayor).

Is this a known bug and is there a way to avoid it or to give me the ranger cabin with a cheat.

Don't you have to, y'know, kill the Shade Lord rather than the dragon? You've probably done it and I'm sounding like a condescending twit right now, but...

I thought that the dragon was the shadowlord becouse I didn't see the other stairs in the lair.

Yeah it is sometimes pretty confusing trying to navigate in IE games. Took me a while before i spotted the stairs too, and that was when i played it for the 3rd time. :/

Check your quest logs from time to time, too. They'll tell you whether you still have a quest outstanding.
