Does any body know of any uses for vampire dust

Me and my friends are on a campain against undead and expecially vampires does anybody know of any potions, weapons or such that can be made with it

How about a practical joke? It may not be fun like a potion or item but try hiding the dust on the party's good cleric somewhere. He could possibly give off an evil aura if the right conditions are met.

Or you could always just engineer your own custom use for it. Perhaps adding vampire dust to a weapon will then deal and extra 1dX damage to good outsiders? Or drinking a measure of the dust in a potion gives you protection from ability/energy drain for a certain amount of hours, perhaps also darkvision?

Non magical uses, pretty much any application a gigantic handful of dust can do (smokescreen, throw it in someone's eyes, pour it down someone's throat and make them suffocate, etc etc), but for any alchemical or magical uses, you'd have to talk to your DM, not us.

Otherwise, there's no listed use for vampire dust (no listed item such as vampire dust either, as vampires don't turn to dust in DND unless you simply light them on fire and collect the ashes, which is a bit different).

Unsure if you're after 'real' uses or suggestions that could be adapted for a campaign.

If you're just after ideas - read on...
If your DM allowed it, you could always have the vampire dust as an integral part of a potion that performs some kind of vampiric trait. Perhaps, it can be part of a polymorph potion - but ONLY turns you into a bat (or wolf). Maybe the potion can grant you limited longevity or immunity to certain types of attack. Of course, your DM may decide that these traits come at a cost (dislike of daytime, garlic, Peter Cushing etc).

It MAY be used as a component to write a specific "protection" scroll. or infused into armour or a weapon to give specific protection (armour) or to create a vampiric sword that does 1d4 blood drain (or something like that).

Whatever it was used for, this kind of research would be costly and not an option of lower levels.
