Hey guys,
well its been some time since ive been back here.

Basically I think the last post of mine was called 'resolution crysis'.

However, I was asked to install a patch, which in turn completely ruined my game and forced my game not to run at all.

So I uninstalled it from steam and installed again, but no luck, something in my pc was still telling it not to run.

So now, months later ive finally re-cleared my pc and hey ho, ITS WORKING!

Ok, now before I go downloading any patches I need to get some things clear.

Ive DOWNLOADED the game from STEAM.

I have NOT downloaded any patches for it.

there is NO information regarding if the steam version comes with any patches installed.

--------

Then I need to know.

If anyone knows if it comes with any patches, if so which do I need to install for the resolution patch?

If it doesnt come with a patch already in the download, which patches do I need to isntall ( SO it wont completely break my game )

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Jonny Bush - Vormis. :D

-----------------------EDIT---------------

Just a quick update on finding things out.

I just tried to install the 1.2 patch from the official vtmb site, and I got an error stating that it couldnt install because it could not verify my copy of the game.

So either I can't install patches due to it being downloaded from steam, or I already have it installed maybe?

cheers for reading, keep me updated!! ^^

Nice on lads.

The Steam version already has the official 1.2 patch applied.

-------------------------EDIT----------------

Just a bit of advice to people installing patches into the steam version of vtmb.

when it asks you for the folder ( that you might not be able to find ) to add the patch to.

Yes. If you want to use it without applying the unofficial patch itself just download the incremental version, install it into an empty directory and then look in the tools folder for the resolution patcher.
