IWD 2, my problems.

For some reason I get very long load times when I am entering new areas or loading a save, I dont think I should be getting long load times because how new my computer is, it can run Crysis at HIGH 1600 x 1050.
I am using Vista ultimate x64 maybe thats the problem, anyways if anyone else experiences long load times please let me know if u have a solution.
Also, I had the black box problem where dialogue boxes and items would have black bloxes around them but I fixed that by turning on 2D option with Software BLT enabled.
