I thought I made a thread about this mod being released but I can't find it with the Search function. Maybe i didn't make one here. Any way...
This mod is at version 1.02. So what is this mod?
The Undying is a WeiDU-based mod for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal. This mod adds a new NPC who will join your party, Callisto T'sarren. She is a Chaotic Evil elven berserker fighter with a tragic past. She has a hatred towards the world in general and an undying hate towards those who destroyed her life when she was young. Nothing will stand in her way to exact bloody revenge on those who wronged her.
This mod also includes new encounters, which is part of Callisto's Quest to find those who wronged her in the past, new items are added, three new stores, dialogs between Callisto and fellow NPCs and the player's character. As usual, The Undying should be compatible with most other WeiDu-based mods, and should be installed after all official patches.

Update. New version 2.00 released with many changes.
The Undying is a WeiDU-based mod for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal. This mod adds two new NPCs who will join your party, Callisto T'sarran and Ninafer.
Callisto is a Chaotic Evil elven berserker fighter with a tragic past. She has a hatred towards the world in general and an undying hate towards those who destroyed her life when she was young. Nothing will stand in her way to exact bloody revenge on those who wronged her.
Ninafer is a Lawful Neutral elven fighter/mage who is trying to find her way in the world of Toril. She's your typical thrill seeking adventurer who is bored with the home life.
This mod also includes new encounters, which is part of Callisto's Quest to find those who wronged her in the past, new items are added, seven new stores, many banters and interjections and three minor quests. Ninafer will flirt around with Anomen if Anomen and your female character are not romancing each other. Their relationship continues into Throne of Bhaal. This mod incorporates the former Ninafer NPC mod and Desecration of Souls. As usual, The Undying should be compatible with most other WeiDu-based mods, and should be installed after all official patches.

Thanks!
Version 2.02 was released not long ago. No major changes, just a few simple errors were fixed.

Callisto is a great evil character, I've been playing her with the Rylorn mod without any issues for a great evil party.
Rylorn
Callisto
Korgan
me assassin
Edwin
Branwen (I would have added Vicona but Callisto had a thing about drow in the party, I had Anomen for a while and screwed up his life by helping him make bad choices.)

Just as an aside, I tried this mod (which I really liked btw) earlier this year (Jan/Feb timeframe) and I noticed that if I had too many of your new weapons with added elemental effects (the vampire longsword, the two-handed sword with electricity, a few more), the game would seize/lockup - screen would go dark and hard drive chugging along. I could alt-tab out and kill the process in task manager, but it was annoying .
The mods I had were (windows XP, service pack 2):
Soa/ToB + official patches
G3 fixpack
G3 tweakpack (various options)
widescreen mod
I figured it out by trial and error - as soon as I stopped using your new weapons (espcially with improved haste), it stopped freezing and ran as normal. The more of your weapons with elemental damage I used and the faster I hit with them (e.g. improved haste), the more frequent it would lock up.
Just FYI. Once 3 is done ill give it a whirl again, those 2 NPCs were good (esp the Nina).

Thanks for trying it out.
I'll have to check the effects of the weapons that do elemental damage. Some times magical elemental damages will slow down the game or cause it to crash.

Thought I would share.
Version 3.00 of The Undying is being worked on again. It will be greatly expanded to include many new areas to explore, quests to under take and plenty of enemies to fight. One of the main encounters will deal with the return of a Baldur Gate villain who is manipulating others to do his/her bidding.
The other main encounter deals with an individual's return. Information on this encounter will basically stay in secrecy. Who this person is, well they have not appeared in any of the Baldur's Gate games but they are known in the Forgotten Realms setting.
Now for the bulk of the new content. The new areas of the Undying's expansion deal with the Stonecrusher clan. This will kick off when Magnus Stonecrusher, the owner of The Dwarven Hammer, asks for help when his clan is in trouble. There are also other minor quests to take in the Stonecrusher Delve besides the main quest.

Glad to hear it.

You Mystra folks haven't been too visible since the new site, and I know some of the links around are still to the older one. But, you make great mods.
Completely compatible with most other WeiDU stuff, one hopes?

Hopefully but never be under the illusion that everything works with everything else.
Also added in a new NPC for the mod as well.

Version 2.06 released. This will most likely be the last of the version "2" releases. This version has a couple of alterations and additions to the mod as well as two bug fixes.

Is Callisto voiced?
The last time i tried this mod (though it was long ago) her voice was a weird mix of movie sounds

Yes her voice set still uses tv samples. It would be nice to get a voice actress to voice her, preferably one that sounds like Hudson Leik.

Update for future version 3.
Version 3 of The Undying is in full force production now.
The updates thread will keep you updated on the progress of this mod. What is this new content?

There are also other minor quests to take in the Stonecrusher Delve besides the main quest. A new NPC, Shi'nayne Auvryndar a drow mage, may join your group if you complete the Stonecrusher quest. Also in the Stonecrusher Delve you will find Charsi who will upgrade armor and weapons if you happen to have the right ingredients.

How compatible with other mods is this? Is it weidu? The main reason for me not installing a mod like this is fear of crashes and such especially combined with tutu and other standard weidu mods (tactics, ease of use, ascension, etc.)
