O.K., I am pondering buying Fallout 1 and 2. It only costs ten bucks, but I wanna know from people who played it, what kinda game is it?

I saw that value pack too - 10 bucks for fallout 1 & 2. I also saw Planescape Torment for 10 bucks, so I got it, and then next month when I can save up another 10 bucks I'll get Fallout, I'm sure it's worth 10 dollars. A lot of people have said they really liked it.

Oh well, I guess it's off to do some research....I feel so cheap, it's ONLY ten bucks...sigh

I saw them both at CompUSA, they only had one PS: T so I got it first. I've been scoring a lot of the Bioware games for cheap like I got Icewind Dale and Heart of Winter at BestBuy. I wanted to grab some of this stuff because I don't want it to disappear off the shelves and never get it. I looked everywhere for Tales of the Sword Coast, and I was only able to find one at some weird store. At least it was really cheap.

I was looking to see if Pool of Radiance was around, but I didn't see it.

fallout2 is my favourite RPG, i think it well worth the $$$, and like BG2 you'll like it even more if you played the 1st game.

i bought fallout2 in 97 (i think that's when it was released) and i still play it

I've been checking some sites about it, and I may just head to Wal Mart and get it.

BUY IT!!!! It will be the best ten bucks you ever spent. Not as great as BG series, but a close runner up. Better cut scenes, great characters, great story. Incredible atmosphere.

Fallout rocks. It's a great RPG and it has some of the funniest inside jokes of just about any game I've played. If you're a sci-fi nerd you'll get a lot more joy out of it (even if your not you'll love it ). Fallout 2's spoof on Monty Python and Holy Grail still has me LMAO

Fallout series is awesome! I remember my companion, um the stupid one with int like 3. Remember him? When talking u can only speak like single syllable words or he gets confused. Yeah I like him, reminds me of Minsc from BG1 and BG2. Anyway Fallout 1 and 2 is an absolute giveaway at 10 bucks and ull get more than what u payed for it. Storyline is awesome, weapons are great (gauss rules!), and the NPCs are great. Especially great is ur ability to get special features such as porn star and boxer. Just an awesome game, I can't decide whether the BG series or the Fallout series is better.

...And now, Troika Games (which developed Fallout 1 and 2) have released Arcanum.

Well, I did it, I baought the games. Hopefully this won't take as much of my time as BG did.
