Did we miss anything during this quest? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!
In order to convince Chorrol's Countess Arriana Valga to allocate some of her soldiers for the
Defense of Bruma, you must close yet another Oblivion gate. The gate threatening the city lies directly to the south along The Black Road, so you don't have to walk very far.
As with the other Oblivion gates you've closed, this one has multiple solutions. The method I chose is to first head southwest and enter the Tsunami tower. Kill any Daedra resistance, then use the Ascension Call lever and ride the Corpse Masher up to the second floor. Follow the ramps to ascend to the very top where you can activate the gate control lever to open up the Tsunami gate outside. With the gate now open, you can simply return to the ground floor and exit the tower via the door you originally came in through.
Circle around the Tsunami tower toward the east and go through the now-open gate. Make your way into the entrance leading into the Hurricane tower just to the southwest, then ascend the Corpse Masher and ramps until you reach another exit a couple of floors below the top of the tower. Move through this door and cross the bridge leading into the Portals of Natural Disaster tower. From here, you can access the Rending Halls, Corridors of Dark Salvation, and Sigillum Sanguis as you ascend the ramps leading to the top of the citadel. Plunder the Sigil Stone once you reach the tower's highest level, then return to Castle Chorrol once the Oblivion gate has closed once and for all.
Countess Arriana Valga is pleased with your success and agrees to send soldiers to Bruma's aid. If you've closed at least a couple of other gates at this point, you may want to take a stab at the
Defense of Bruma quest. If you're still having trouble, though, continue making the rounds and securing the help of Cyrodiil's major cities.
