Did we miss anything during this quest? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

Even though you've just started working for Ocheeva, she already has a contract lined up for you. This first task involves the slaying of a High Elf named Faelian. Unfortunately, the Dark Brotherhood knows very little about him, other than the fact that he lives in Imperial City and "fancies long walks." They don't know the district he resides in, nor do they know which establishments he frequents.

You're going to have to do a little detective work on this one, though Ocheeva does remind you to talk with your Brothers and Sisters to see if any of them know about Faelian. She also tells you to be very discreet about the assassination, to avoid any heat from the Imperial Legion captain Adamus Phillida. Apparently the guy has dedicated his life to eradicating the Dark Brotherhood, and Ocheeva doesn't want him to have any reason to poke around in their affairs. In order to earn a bonus, you're going to have to kill Faelian in a secure location with no witnesses.

All of your fellow faction members have at least a little advice for your new contract, but Vicente Valtieri probably offers the best. He tells you that the Elves in Imperial City are a very close-knit community and that at least one of them will have heard of Faelian. If you simply ask around, one of the other Elves is bound to know of his whereabouts.

Your first stop will probably be Imperial City's Elven Gardens district, and although you won't find Faelian here, you'll easily find another member of the Elven community to interrogate. Speak with any of them to learn that Faelian resides in the Tiber Septim Hotel within the Talos Plaza district. Now that we know where he lives, it's time to begin tracking him.

Pay a visit inside the Tiber Septim Hotel and talk with the clerk, Augusta Calidia, to learn that Faelian does indeed stay here. However, Augusta explains that Faelian is addicted to a drug called skooma and that he's "a waste of life" that simply lives off his wealthy girlfriend, Atraena. At 8pm or 2am, you can catch Faelian either coming to or leaving from the hotel. Speak to him when he's outside and he'll ask you for skooma in order to be his "friend."

If you tell Faelian that you have some skooma, even though you don't, he'll know that you're lying. He tells you to speak with Nordinor in Bravil to obtain some skooma, though that seems like a lot of work just to finish the contract. Instead, break into Trenus Duronius' home in the Temple district (third house on the right from the west gate), where you'll find three bottles of skooma in an unlocked chest on the second floor. There are two chests stacked on top of each other, and you most likely won't be able to open the top one (very hard difficulty). Burglarize the rest of the home if you wish, then return to Faelian with the skooma in hand.

When you hand Faelian some skooma, you instantly become his best friend. He'll invite you to Lorkmir's House in the Elven Gardens district, which he refers to as his "special place." Show up between the hours of 11:00am and 5:00pm, and you got yourself a perfect spot for a murder. In case you want to show up any other time, though, Faelian hands you Lorkmir's House Key.

Lorkmir's House is two doors down from The King and Queen Tavern. If Faelian isn't here yet, take a moment to explore the house. You'll find Lorkmir lying face down in a pool of blood on the basement floor, apparently due to multiple stab wounds from your new friend Faelian. You'll also find vials of skooma on the table in the dining room.

When Faelian shows up, make him pay for his addiction and murderous nature. Since it's a secure location, you will have earned the bonus. It's also worth noting that you can actually skip much of this quest and simply break into Lorkmir's house to kill Faelian (in fact, Faelian's girlfriend Atraena will even tell you that he hangs out here). The lock is of Hard difficulty, though, so you'll need some finesse to pull it off.

Return to Ocheeva after the deed is done. Since you didn't raise an eyebrow from Captain Phillida, Ocheeva rewards you with your usual 100 Gold and the Shadowhunt bow as a bonus. This quest is now complete, and a new one entitled Enter the Eliminator will have appeared in your journal.
