Rosethorn is the name of your house in Skingrad (if you have bought it). It contains hidden treasure.
You must start by going to the bedroom on the top floor, and getting up on to the shelf above the deer's head. You need to be a reasonable athlete to do this, jumping on to the desk and thence via the deer's head to the hidden shelf. There you will find a note from Daravyn Gray saying that there is some treasure hidden about the house, which will enable his lover to get away, while he is about to be arrested and go to prison. The note contains the following riddle:-
"Two bodies have I, though I remain one.
The more I stand still, the quicker I run."
This plainly refers to an hour glass. There are several round the house, but the one you want is in the basement. Look for a pillar hung with garlic. You have to remove some of the garlic to see enough of the hour glass to take it. Instead of being just full of sand, it disgorges 2 Flawless Diamonds, 2 Flawless Emeralds, 2 Flawless Sapphires, and Gray's Ring.
