President Obama has also received the game "The Witcher 2" collector's edition, and books by Andrzej Sapkowski in English-language edition autographed by the author. Among the gifts were also pictures of the visit of President Obama in Prime Minister's Office, and feather, which refused to obey the entry in the guestbook.Enjoy, Mr President. The Witcher 2 Presented to President Barack Obama
During US President Barack Obama's recent visit to Poland, Prime Minister Donald Tusk presented him an official diplomatic gift including The Witcher 2 and two of the books that inspired the critically acclaimed computer game. This is the first recognition of this nature for the entertainment software industry in Poland, and perhaps the entire world.
(We are very proud to know that Prime Minister Tusk felt the Witcher 2 was the most suitable gift for the US President. It is a further indication that our game is a quality product. This recognition boosts the strong enthusiasm we are already feeling due to our game's high scores from the media and its very healthy sales to date. The Witcher gift set consisted of the English version of The Witcher 2 Collector's Edition signed by members of the development team, plus the English editions of Andrzej Sapkowski's books, signed by the author.
