Dark Souls III Ships 3 Million Copies, Series Tops 13 Million

According to a translation of Japanese press release done by the folks at Gematsu which seems to line up with Google Translator's own bizarre interpretation of the text, Dark Souls III has already shipped three million copies worldwide, helping the series top the 13 million copies shipped figure.
Most of those copies were shipped in Europe and North America, with Asian territories only accounting for about 500,000 copies. If you needed another confirmation that From Software's dark fantasy action_RPG series isn't niche anymore, there you have it.
