As far as melee combat is concerned I think that Dark Age of Camelot is head and shoulders above the competition. The combat styles give melee types options which are regrettably missing in other titles. Different weapons have different styles which keeps players varied. For example thief types will generally open combat by sneaking up on their opponents for a backstab. The backstab is then followed by a combination of styles that if landed in succession can leave an opponent hurt, stunned and bleeding resulting in a quick and easy win for the thief. If not executed properly the thief can find himself in deep trouble as his combat skills are not up to par with other characters. The various skills such as shield, parry, dual wield etc are all fully trainable which means that you will see some characters who prefer two-handers and some who prefer to use a one-hander and shield. Some infiltrators may choose to use two weapons and some will use one(and save the skill points for other areas).
