Everyone in your realm is your ally regardless of race and class. Thus, all of the players in the other realms are your enemies. Once you feel ready to take on the enemy, you can go through a gate to a new area between the realms where you may battle human opponents. The character will fight alongside other people in your realm and strike down the enemy while battling to capture their fortress. In essence, not only do you get to PK when you want to PK, but it's a group effort. Additionally, if your character dies while battling someone from another realm, you don't lose experience or any of the goods you're carrying. Experience and loot loss only occurs if you happen to be killed by a creature.
