Interview on Black Moon Chronicles

The upcoming MMORPG Black Moon Chronicles: The Winds of War from Vircom Interactive pushed GameSpy to comfort Humberto Valencia for an in-depth interview about the game. A part is quoted below:

GameSpyDaily: For those that don't know, how will you roll out the game to the masses and when is it scheduled for completion?

Fuerza: You should be able to find the box on the shelves in early April.

GameSpyDaily: During testing have you dealt with anyone seriously exploiting the game software, and how did you handle it? In general how strict are your policies on abuse? What kinds of disciplinary actions do you employ against players?

Fuerza: Unfortunately, yes. As usual, in beta testing, there were a few bugs and a few players exploited them, this obviously annoyed fellow beta testers and actions had to be taken from our side. Whenever a beta tester over exploited the game software, he received a written warning from the Vircom Team via e-mail. If the person preceded, the exploiting character was deleted and another written warning was personally sent to the beta tester. Finally, if the player is caught exploiting a bug for the third time, he will sadly be deleted from the beta's database, thus impeding him to enter the Closed Beta.

We are glad to say that no one has been denied access to the beta test, but a few players have received a first warning. IMHO, I don't think our policies are too strict, we trust the Black Moon community. All we ask our beta testers is to be fair and honest.
