This question has come up a lot recently, so to mention it: don't worry about submitting your guild crest now! We've got to get the system in place to handle all the submissions. We're not sure when it will be available but rest assured we'll let you know when it's time. In the meantime you'll be able to talk about them to your heart's content on our forums in a few days!
