Throne of Bhaal First Impressions

What I can say so far is that Throne of Bhaal fits like the proverbial old shoe, especially playing it with my final party from Shadows of Amn. The gameplay is familiar, the visuals are every fit as detailed and as beautiful as we've come to expect, and the storyline has the same monumentally heroic feeling. I've yet to encounter much in the way of new monsters, but it's still early. My characters have started to acquire their first high-level abilities and spells, and they're as much fun as they seem to be when I saw a few demonstrated at E3 last month. They've also begun to find some pretty cool items, so it looks like those of us who like to search out weapons, armor and other items will have lots to discover.
